Kobie Nel

Black Lake Monologue

/// Coda Press
Book Launch

Saturday October 21st, 8- 10pm

Entrée, Markeveien 4b

We are delighted host the book launch of artist Kobie Nel's fresh from the print 'Black Lake Monologue', during Bergen Art Book Fair.

Kobie Nel’s thorough research based artistic practice centers around the voice of the silenced woman, a woman whose public profile has been shaped by the male gaze through exaggerated representations and rumors. 'Black Lake Monologue' features an annotated text from a performance and lecture where Nel expands upon her extensive research of the ‘Isdalskvinnen case’ through her studio practice.

Coda Press is an artist-run press established this year by Scott Elliott. His press facilitates the production and dissemination of other artist’s writing practices through printed matter, online and audio formats.

Entrée makes copies of Coda Press books available on consignment for sale.

Bergen Art Book Fair is taking place October 19–22, at Bergen Kunsthall and Landmark, and showcases local, national and international artists and small press publishers.
