Entrée is a non-profit and independent gallery promoting contemporary art and commissioning new works from local and international artists. We are located in Markeveien 4B, a 1920s building by architect Ole Landmark; the white cube has an especially tall ceiling and enormous window confronting the public space right at the heart of the city of Bergen, Torgallmenningen. Previous location (2009-2015) was the storefront at Nøstegaten 42.
Entrée was established in 2009 by artist Cato Løland and curator Randi Grov Berger. Since 2011 Entrée is run by Randi Grov Berger and helped out by artist Dillan Marsh. From 2014 we have also involved curator Espen Johansen. Exhibitions are documented by Bent René Synnevåg (2014-). Entrée`s homepage is made by Cameron MacLeod using Indexhibit. Posters, publications and graphic design by Jens Tandberg (2014-), Stine Belden Røed (2013), Christian Bielke (2012), Christian Brandt (2009-11).
Entrée is a member of New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) since 2017, and have participated at NADA Art Fair in New York since 2015.
